Classes

  • Somatic Restore

SomaYoga is a restorative practice for every (unique) body. SomaYoga methodology takes classic yoga asana and focuses on the subtle body movements (somatics) that build the postures. By focusing on small somatic movements, the practitioner builds awareness around areas of sensory motor amnesia (neuro-muscular disconnect). As awareness grows around these areas, nero-muscular connection is re-established, which can result in a variety of benefits.

This class is recommended for first timers and students of all levels.

  • Navakaraṇa Vinyasa

Navakaraṇa is a powerful methodology compiled by founder Dario Calvaruso. Navakaraṇa uses breath, sound, tempo, and movement in a synergistic manner to cultivate the intention of purification for self-directed transformation. Navakaraṇa methodology provides the perfect conditions to challenge and overcome physical and mental limitations.

This class is recommended for intermediate to advance students.

  • Navakaraṇa Deconstruction

Navakaraṇa Deconstruction is a class that teaches the components of a Navakaraṇa sequence including base, gravity, orientation and mapping, anatomical focus, energy, and kinaesthesia.

This class is recommended for intermediate to advance students. This class requires semi regular attendance in order learn the progression and build a community for Navakaraṇa Vinyasa.

  • Chakra + Meditation

Explore subtle body sensations with the Chakra + Meditation class. This three part class explores shat kriya & pranayama (physical body warm up and breathing preparation), mudra & mantra, and meditation. Learn techniques to build your own meditation practice.

  • Yoga Nidra

Cultivate awareness of deeper states of the mind with Yoga Nidra. A Yoga Nidra class guides the practitioner into an alpha brainwave state. If conscious in this state, the practitioner is able to let go of mental programming that no longer serves and replace with seeds of growth and awareness. A feeling of deep rest could be a tangential benefit of this practice.

  • Pranayama

Breathing is so automatic in day to day life that one might forget the process altogether. Take a moment of gratitude for each inhalation and exhalation of the Pranayama class. In this class we explore the capacity to breath through breathing techniques.

  • Children's Yoga

The Children’s Yoga class is all about having fun while learning and practicing super powers (skills) for life! Children learn skills such as mind-body awareness, social and emotional connection, self-regulation through breathing and more!
